The intention of this blog is to start a conversation about the power of the human mind, and its impact on our bodies, and life in general. It is an attempt at looking at wellness in a holistic manner, incorporating many intelligences that we may have forgotten or disconnected from. It’s going to be short and sharp. Lets talk!
DAY ONE
Your created reality : Blue or green lenses?
Buddha says “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. What we think, we become”. Your thoughts and perspective are therefore the lenses through which you view the world. This in turn informs the perspective, and viewpoint from which you see, what you see. The same is true for your health. Your view of your body, and health is informed by the self authored beliefs that are wired into your thoughts. Patterns that are so part of you, that you believe that “this is me” are what create the lenses of your health and life. This quote from Deepak Chopra sums it up “If you want to know what your thoughts were like in the past, look at your body today. If you want to know what your body will be like in the future, look at your thoughts today”
So what lenses do you have on today? What shades are you seeing? Are these the same shades that those around you are seeing? Can we indeed see the same shades? How do you see your health and that of your family?
